From spearheading Baltimore’s first city-wide health-screening event to partnering with the National Institutes of Health, Times Community Services (TCS) and its long-time collaborator, The Baltimore Times, have set the pace for innovation, community engagement, and information sharing. Chosen by the Office of Minority Health Resource Center to lead the local “Take a Loved One to the Doctor” campaign in the Baltimore market, TCS has always made partnership the cornerstone of its impact. More than two decades ago, a collaboration with the University of Maryland School of Medicine created one of the region’s first telehealth links with South Africa.
Since 1986, Times Community Services has continued to ignite positive change by advancing wellness, financial empowerment, and uplifting events that redefine how Black Baltimore and Maryland’s communities are seen and celebrated.
